This edition reflects the vast increase of Dutch breweries (~ 2 x number of breweries) and a similar increase in beer cafes, compared to the 1st edition. This change merits the status of Dutch craft beer, despite the market acceptance of blond lagers produced by major breweries.

The changes in Dutch beer are described plus background aspects of visiting NL for beer lovers.

The breweries listed are firstly to Breweries & brew-pubs and secondly to those brewers that haven't a brewery.
