Here's the new title of the New Imbiber - its been renamed the 'Beer Imbiber', with a new editor.
A change that probably is more accurate and relevant to the subject matter in the Imbiber.
We carry on the interests of our readers in the ever changing new British breweries and their beers.
In this issue, after an introduction from our new editor, we start with a visit to a new brewery in Shropshire wearing the name of a long gone brewery whose closure resulted, I think in the first CAMRA demonstration against its closure.
Taylor Illingworth is the next brewery in Middlesborough to be visited and described.
Saison beer - is dissected by David Harris, with a half dozen various brews of this style.
Book Review - 2 new books, the new edition of Tim Webbs 'Good Beer Guide Belgium' and a global beer book 'Will Travel for Beer' by Stephen Beaumont. Unusually the method here is not to specify the beers but instead to navigate through beer festivals all over the world. Time to get your tankard and map (& cash).
Down South - our intrepid beer judge and wandererer, David Hughes goes south to Dorset, covering Ringwood, Swanage, Weymouth, Dorchester plus other bits of Dorset.
Finally our Brewery Updates (4 pages with 16 new breweries) and 8 pages of New Beers.
