An illustrated record of changes over some 80 years for nearly 100 pubs in Huntingdonshire. Each page bears an early photograph of each pub alongside a contemporary photo of the same pub (or it's successor) plus brief history of the pub. Many of the photos show not only the early architecture of the pubs but record aspects of life in the 1930s and many pubs bear the names of former breweries of the county. Many of the early photos are from the 1930s records of the former Huntingdon Brewery, the Norris Museum in St Ives and from local historians. The pubs are arranged by locality from Abbots Ripon to Warboys (although the various localities aren't highlighted as groups and there isn't an index of the pubs therein). The towns with the most pub photos are in order - Huntingdon, St Neots, St Ives, Godmanchester, Ramsey and other smaller towns and villages.
