It's sub-titles "Behind the Beers and Brewers leading the World's Craft Brewing Revolution", and another description "The Ultimate Beer Geek's Journal" reflects the author's enthusiasm for new style extreme beers like extra flavours, extra alcohol etc. The sections of this comprehensive book are: the beer ingredients, the range of beer styles, past beer styles, ecological beer brewing, beer for the seasons, the brewers and companies brewing extreme beers, not only draught beer but bottles, cans and "growlers", and finally cellar work, beer and food. In each of these sections there are recommended beers to exemplify the points in the section. Although the book (and the author) are American the beers (and breweries) which are recommended and described are not just confined to US offerings (beers/breweries from Scotland, France, Austria, New Zealand etc are highlighted) with interesting discussions with brewers too . Finally there's a list of Craft Beer Weeks in US States and some cities (and Canada). An interesting enthusiastic book for the wide world of new (and old) but different beers and breweries.
