The April-May 2011 issue shows the Grey Horse pub in Consett Co. Durham - one of a number of pubs in the North-East & Yorkshire sampled by David Hughes and his cohorts in beer. Down South, Howard Gladwin does some armchair sampling - this time of brewery websites in his beloved Norfolk. Richard Plumb gives an interesting and reassuring account of the restitution of a failed pub and our Editor assesses the changing nature of brewery take-overs. Plus of course the cornerstone of the magazine - the Brewery and Beers Updates where all the latest additions (and closures) and new beers are recorded.
