This must be the definitive guide to Lambic beers, considerably enlarged from the 1st edition of 2004. It is historical, authoritative, knowledgable and entertaining - all in a very attractively presented book. The areas of probably most interest to readers - the Lambic beer makers & their beers, and the cafe bars that sell the beer are naturally well covered by descriptions, photos and symbols. There are supporting chapters that make this book such a mine of information - Lambic's history, understanding lambic beers, other lambic producers in Belgium, lambic tourism, take aways and travel & accomodation.
Inside the front cover is a handy map of Lambicland and some wonderful pictures of old Lambic advertising grace the pages - and the "true life story of this book" is a gem too.
