This month's issue has two reconnaisances on beer and pubs in Scotland; one by Mike Hammersley in the West Highlands (a photo of the Isle of Mull brewery graces the front cover) and the other by Bill Woolley to the far north. Much further south to north Norfolk finds Howard Gladwin looking for beers from the county. To the westernmost part of England, David Hughes enjoys a Crookham Travel trip sampling pubs and beers in Cornwall. Richard Plumb takes a trip down memory lane to his old local in Cove, near Farnborough (that of RAE fame). Keith Osborne relates the birth and growth of Upham Ales in the village of that name in Hampshire. Elsewhere there's news and comment on the microbrewery front and of course the Imbiber's Brewery Update and New Beers Update for all the latest news.
