This issue's front cover shows the home of World's End Ales, at the Crown Inn in Pewsey, Wiltshire - listed in the Brewery Update section of the magazine. Elsewhere there are a couple of trips by Richard Plumb, one around Rothwell (in Northants, not Leeds/Wakefield!) and the other in the outskirts of Leicester. In north Norfolk Howard Gladwin finds plenty of Wherry available in the pubs but not much from the many small breweries in the county. Many thousands of miles away Dave Woodhead is pleased to find an explosion of craft breweries in Hong Kong and in Singapore and samples some intersting brews. Ron Atkins looks at the current pressure on the big pubcos both from the OFT prodded into life by CAMRA and from tighter financial resources. And of course in the magazine there's over 4 pages of new beer updates since the last issue (and the aforementioned new brewery update (8 new ones since the last issue).
