Here, for each county the licensing authorities are named, the National Records are identified, the relevant Record holdings by the county Records Offices listed and the county archives holdings are shown. Preceding these details is a general introduction to the Records explaining the various types that may exist. Finally there's an interesting glossary of Latin and English words associated with the subject and the period they came into use.
