Covers both malt extract brewing and full mash methods. detailed information on the basic process, the various ingredients, the equipment needed, water treatment and the necessary cleaning and disinfecting procedures. Then the other half of the book is taken up with brewing recipes of traditional British styles of beer, ie mild ale, pale ale and bitter.
Most of these recipes are emulations of well known commercial beers...Adnams, Lees, Thwaites, Jennings etc.
