The authors (they of the Bruges book of similar title) have selected an unusual and interesting mixture of pubs/bars mostly in central London but going out as far as Hampstead (N), Bethnal Green (E),Herne Hill (S)and Putney (W). From each pub they have selected a particular interesting beer to match the pub - and there's certainly a wide range of beers that are featured here from all over Britain and the world. Each pub has a page of description and good colour photos to convey it's appeal, plus the usual time & place info; two London maps show where the pubs are. A most interesting pub guide or is it a beer guide? which will certainly appeal to the visitor to London and probably open the eyes of Londoners too to the other pubs on their doorstep.
