The bulk of the book guides you through all the known German breweries (> 1250 of them plus some unidentified ones!); the 2nd, smaller section of the beer guide is a selection of good drinking pubs in the main German cities.
Additionally there are interesting supporting sections on travel, German beer styles, beer festivals and German drinking culture. There are comprehensive indices of breweries, beers and brewery locations.
The brewery section is organised by L�nder (States), with info on location, ownership, availability and beer range (the ownership details are quite revealing � and worrying).
An excellent guide for both beer travellers to Germany and general beer readers.
