Great Yarmouth is known to many beer lovers as the town where Lacons beer was brewed, at least until its takeover and eventual closure by Whitbread. However, as this book shows, Lacons didnt have the town to themselves the large Norwich brewery Steward & Patteson had a depot there and quite a few pubs. Over 200 photos - ranging from the early 1900s through the 1930s to the 70s, mainly pub exteriors, (showing the brewery names) plus a few interior shots; also some brewery drays, adverts and brewery photos.
